The Canadian gaming industry touches almost every corner of our country and provides employment and good salaries, and a portion of the revenue generated is transferred to fund government, community programs, charitable causes, and First Nations initiatives. Gaming is also increasingly technology-based and constantly evolving and encompasses a wide range of manufacturers and suppliers of everything from mobile games for cruise ships and uniforms for casinos, to lottery ticketing machines and sports wagering information.
The Canadian Gaming Association released its National Economic Benefits Study of the Canadian gaming industry to demonstrate the contributions and positive benefits that gaming makes to the Canadian economy.
